Master Recoil
Mitigate the "snappier" recoil impulse common to micro-compacts. The Align Tactical® THUMB REST TAKEDOWN LEVER integrates an ergonomic low-profile ledge for the support hand's thumb to firmly lock down against, serving as a brake against muzzle flip to provide the fastest follow-up sight picture. Increased surface contact with the pistol reduces support hand slippage or "milking", while providing an index point for a consistent high thumbs-forward grip. Secure Design
Complementing the P365® compatible takedown lever is a thumb rest that extends forward of the center of rotation, directing applied pressure (counter clockwise) towards an internal over-travel stop to rigidly remain locked in place. When used in the opposite direction (clockwise) for disassembly, rotation is easy with a simple pinch and turn of the ledge.
Enhanced Ergonomics
The Align Tactical® THUMB REST TAKEDOWN LEVER protrudes 8mm (0.32 inches) from the frame for a comfortably slim footprint that creates approximately half-a-thumb's width of effective resistance area. We've increased the traction pad length to proportionately dissipate the increased force inherent to micros and provided our best stippling to-date for your shooting comfort. Pad is positioned above weapon lights controls and clears the frame to reduce heat transfer to the pad during extended range sessions.
Expanded Module Compatibility
The P365® is one of the most modular platforms on the market, so we've designed our Thumb Rest to be compatible with popular aftermarket grip module manufacturers such as Icarus Precision, Mischief Machine, and Sharps Bros. Even works with most shallow scalloped traction pads for extreme control.
Reflex Sight Clearance Validation
The upward rotation of the Thumb Rest's extended pad requires the (base) of an optic to complement the footprint of the slide (allowing up to 0.5mm added width along the bottom 2.75mm of optic's height (see picture below)) - Maximum width 1 inch. *Slide will not install if lever is blocked by extended housings or protective fenced-in control buttons.

*EXCEPTIONS - Slides with a shallow optic cut, such as ARC Division's Reactor, allow for direct mounting of ALL optics (including non-compatible listed) when lever is held in full rotation for additional clearance. Also applies to optics plates that raise an optics height to clear. Non-compatibility refers to OEM direct mount without change to clearance of the takedown lever's rotation.
